    Well, yeah... you battle him four times for sixty points each (240), then remove the power weight and battle him once more for twelve points to make the 252 exactly. Same number of times you'd have to battle him to max at 255, and all you have to do is pull the enhancing item.

    How's it easier? If you have pokérus, all your EV yields are going to be even numbers anyway, so it's simple to hit 252 precisely. I'll agree that one stat point isn't BIG DEAL WHOAHMG, but I don't see any point in wasting it just because you don't want to keep track of your EV's. Also...
